Hello Barefoot Lakes Residents,

The July 4th holiday weekend is here.  We hope that you all are enjoying the summer and are looking forward to celebrating the holiday.  Going into the busy weekend, we would like to provide you with a few friendly reminders:

The Swimming Pool and The Cove:

  • The swimming pool hours are from 10am to 8pm.  Please note that on Tuesday, July 4th, the pool will be closing at 5pm.  Please be respectful of our lifeguards.  These individuals provide an essential life and safety service for the community.
  • We are anticipating a very busy weekend.  Staffing levels have been increased, there still may be times when there is a wait to enter the pool deck due to pool capacity.
  • The waiver policy will be strictly enforced.  No user under the age of 12 will be allowed to use the pool unless accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Also, any unaccompanied user between 12-18 years of age must have a minor release form on file.
  • Consumption of alcohol, smoking, vaping, and the use of drugs, including marijuana, on or around the swimming pool and Cove facility is prohibited.
  • Any disorderly or offensive conduct will not be tolerated.  If anyone is disrespectful or abusive to staff or interferes with the safety and enjoyment of users of the facilities, they will be asked to leave the premises.

Fireworks in the Community:

  • Frederick Firestone Fire District and Firestone Police Department follow Colorado State Laws that states fireworks which leave the ground or explode are illegal. Both departments enforce firework laws and will be patrolling their communities and issuing citations for illegal fireworks.
  • Please see below public safety notices, safety tips and information provided by the Frederick Firestone Fire District and the Firestone Police Department:
