The Board of Directors is looking for individuals willing to serve on the Finance Committee, Modification Committee, and Social Committee. Finance Committee:  Seven (7) members of the Barefoot Lakes Community can be appointed to review and participate in discussions concerning various District financial matters, including budgets, audits, and other financing matters.  Recommendations to the Board regarding such matters must be in a standardized written report, submitted to the Board no later than one week prior to the quarter Board meeting, and signed by the chairperson of the Finance Committee.  Email updates@svlmd-barefootlakes.com if interested in volunteering.

Modification Committee:  Seven (7) members of the Barefoot Lakes Community can be appointed to  review and consider projects to improve or modify areas owned and operated by the District. The Committee will meet four time a year to review and recommend community modifications within the Board approved budget of $10,000.  Email updates@svlmd-barefootlakes.com if interested in volunteering.

Social Committee: Seven (7) members of the Barefoot Lakes Community can be appointed to serve on this committee whose duties include: scheduling, managing, and organizing events that foster a sense of involvement and participation in the community.  If you are interested please contact The Cove’s YMCA Program Coordinator Lindsey Ruff at rec@svlmd-barefootlakes.com. The next Social Committee meeting is scheduled for January 22nd at 6:00 P.M. at The Cove.
